Rosetta Stone makes an excellent product, but its customer service is the worst I have ever encountered in any business. I ordered Levels 1 through 5 Russian and went for the monthly subscription after the first year. This enabled me to use different devices and to learn on the go. All good. When I tried to install the updates on my French 1-5, the system crashed. When I called the help number I was told there would be a charge. I bought my system too many months ago. I replied that the update did not specify any problem with an 'age' issue. I purchased two of the Rosetta Stone Online Subscription & App Packages for my children. One child is taking French the second child, Spanish. We have had nothing but problems from day one! I have had to completely reload Rosetta Stone since accepting an update. It is entirely unusable since the update. I contacted tech support who had be delete tracking files again and again to no avail. I would never recommend them to anyone, save your money. Their program seldom works and their support team is a joke. Very seldom does the speech recognition part of their program work.
