I've had Rosetta on my computer for 4 months and have had numerous problems. When you contact customer support expect to be tied up for 1-2 hours and usually with no resolution to your problem. I'm homeschooling my son and bought the homeschool version. My son completed 3/4 of the course when it stopped working. Rosetta says they can do nothing. They can give me an upgrade to a non-homeschool program but I can't print reports or verify work done... Read more

Absolutely stone age organisation. Rosetta stone is about learning a language using a specific method not about software and platform. Yes OSX android IOS or Windows are different operating systems but the language is the same and the method doesn't change either neither does the content / images! I am absolutely furious! I've had Rosetta Stone for 7 years and have used it homeschooling my children. I moved to a new house and when we got the computer hooked up an error code started popping up. I called Rosetta Stone and they gave me the run-around and told me to find out the error code myself that they don't support it anymore. I purchased online version for short term use preparing for a once in a life time trip to Italy. I was not aware of any automatic renewal. Perhaps it was hidden in fine print somewhere but I never saw it. A year later, they charged my credit card another $239. I called customer service but it was like talking to a brick wall. Today I contacted Rosetta Stone's customer service department concerning a Spanish Language Instructional Software program that my sister purchased in 2008. Her daughter was planning on studying Spanish but quit after the first week. The software package was very expensive. Rosetta charged me to renew the package and when I phoned to query they said that I should have selected the "do not renew" option in my settings and they can not refund this as this was my mistake. Though they did stop the system renewing next year. This is *** and certainly I would recommend anyone buying the package to make sure that option is checked. I have not logged into my account for 6 months, which should be easy for them to see. ***... Read more

I had called Rosetta Stone multiple times each time after a lengthy drawn out call the get our contact information and say they will get back to us within whatever time frame and never call us back with how to get help to get the program up and running properly. I don't think they care, makes you feel like now that they have our money, they can now just sit back and laugh about how there not going to actually do anything at all after making stay... Rosetta Stone makes an excellent product, but its customer service is the worst I have ever encountered in any business. I ordered Levels 1 through 5 Russian and went for the monthly subscription after the first year. This enabled me to use different devices and to learn on the go. All good. When I tried to install the updates on my French 1-5, the system crashed. When I called the help number I was told there would be a charge. I bought my system too many months ago. I replied that the update did not specify any problem with an 'age' issue. After some conversation, and a plea to talk with a supervisor, the lady (in India, I think) agreed to do if for no cost, with a warning that next time, there would be a charge. I now avoid all...
